This 1993 New Zealand $10 uncut block of four banknotes was released as a limited presentation pack to commemorate the introduction of the Series 5 "Brighter Money" design. This series marked a significant transition in New Zealand currency, being the first to feature updated portraits and indigenous flora and fauna. The block remains in its original issued format, preserving the notes as they emerged from the printing press prior to individual cutting.

The obverse features suffragist Kate Sheppard, a central figure in New Zealand’s social history, alongside the white camellia. The reverse depicts the endangered Blue Duck (Whio) in its natural river habitat.
