The Half Crown is proudly based in Christchurch, New Zealand. While we're an online-only store, our operations are rooted right here in the Garden City.
Do you guarantee the authenticity of your items?
Yes, we guarantee the authenticity of all items.
In case of a confirmed forgery by a reputable source, we will coordinate a free return of the item and full refund upon receipt of item.

What if I disagree with your grading?
Coin grading is inherently subjective, especially for higher grades where even slight differences can significantly impact value.
To help you make an informed decision, we provide high-quality, specific photos of the actual coin, or clearly state if the photo is indicative only.
We do not accept returns based on disagreements with our coin grading after you've received the item.

Can I collect my order in person?
No, we operate exclusively online. This allows us to keep our operating costs low, which means we can offer you better prices on our coins.
How do you ship items?
All items are sent by New Zealand Post with full tracking & insurance.
Please allow 1-2 days for dispatch then a further 2-3 days for New Zealand delivery and 1-2 weeks for Australia.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to New Zealand & Australia only. Please contact us if you live elsewhere and would like to purchase.
Will you buy my coin collection?
Yes we buy coins collections of all sizes and values, please get in touch if you are looking to sell.
Are you open to trades?
